On the technical side, the pad delivers an input of 5V/1.2A and output of 5V/0.8A for wireless charging or 5V/1A via USB, with a working current of 800/1000 mAh and a wireless charging distance of 0.15 in (4 mm). It is compatible with any phone that supports wireless charging, though it is not a fast charger - devices that support fast charging will still charge at standard speed. The integrated cable features a USB-C connector and a duo 5-pin/micro USB connector for charging only, with no data transfer function. A built-in LED indicator light confirms charging status, and most phone cases will need to be removed for proper wireless contact. The unit is FCC approved and ships with instructions, though it is not an Apple authorized accessory.
